About Aroon
Born in India, Aroon graduated from New York University in 1961 with a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He has lived in London, UK since 1967 where he ran a number of his own businesses and held senior positions in the banking and financial services industry for many years. With a flair for interior design, he studied Intuitive Feng Shui for several years under the internationally known author, one of the world’s leading teachers and Feng Shui consultants William Spear and obtained an honorary Scholarship Certificate.
This new field has been his passion and the sole focus of his career since 1996 which led him to setting up Feng Shui Designs Ltd, now a well established Feng Shui consultancy with an ever expanding client base in the UK and overseas.
Aroon Ajmera has, for several years, served on the executive committee of the Feng Shui Society of the UK. As a believer in new age study, alternative therapies and the influence of the vibrational world on our wellbeing, he is a keen nature photographer too. He pioneered the first on-line Feng Shui Photographic Gallery in the UK in 2000 on www.photoboxgallery.com/fengshui. In addition to being instrumental in transforming his clients’ lives and environments as a consultant around the world, he also teaches Feng Shui in London. He is the author of ‘Feng Shui and your Home’ (published in 2000) and ‘Feng Shui and Your Office’ (published in September 2002) and Feng Shui Living (published in September 2009).
His radio interviews on Feng Shui were broadcast through an Indian Radio station, Sheetal Sangeet, based in Toronto Canada. His Feng Shui articles are regularly published in the UK, India and USA. Since 2005, he is listed as a Feng Shui expert on www.selfgrowth.com
In 2008, he joined Barefoot-Fengshui (part of Barefoot Foundation) as a founder member to fulfil its mission to increase Feng Shui awareness throughout the UK. In 2010, as the team leader of the World Feng Shui Team, he was instrumental in the launch of www.worldfengshuiday.org. His dream is to create a global network of Feng Shui communities so that all the cultures around the world can enrich their lives by incorporating Feng Shui in their environment.
