Enlightening information:

White Peacock and Feng Shui :
My wife and I had an invitation to attend a big birthday party on the evening of 7th June 2008 at The Pendley Manor Hotel, Tring, Hertfordshire countryside within its own 35 acres of wooded parkland.  As the party invite was for a dinner dance till late, we decided to stay the night at this splendid late Victorian manor.

As we entered the car park with lush vegetation and lawns, we were greeted with unusual sounds of birds like those of peacocks, with which we are very familiar in villages of India.  Soon we started spotting the blue lustrous peacocks walking around fearlessly and showing off their colourful feathers in a display of excitement as if they were modelling for us.

My camera was in the suitcase so I did not take any photos.

As we checked in, we asked the staff there about three or four peacocks roaming around the front entrance of the hotel. We were told- “Sir, we used to have 30 peacocks in the hotel compound but as the customers complained of the peacocks waking them up early in the morning with their relay of splendid sounds of hello…. to each other. We gave away 23 peacocks to others and now we have only 7 left.

With this background information, I wished the following morning would be dry and sunny for me to take an early morning walk in the hotel gardens to take some good photos to capture the beauty of this graceful bird. With the principle of law of attraction, my thoughts became reality the following morning and I set out for a long walk with my camera.

As I got out of the hotel door, I started looking for peacocks and the moment I looked up…a magnificent tree, I saw the following silhouette setting

Ideal for Relationship corner:

What an ideal image for the relationship corner of the room or the home!!

Walking down further in the garden, I noticed another three blue peacocks. However, I was told they had a white peacock too in the garden and that is what I wanted to see and capture through my lens.

As I walked through the rear of the hotel, I came near the Tennis courts and there it was waiting to make my wish come true. The white peacock had just stepped down the steps and was getting ready for the morning stretch:
In an attempt to capture any act of beauty, I started clicking as the show started:
But the best moment had yet to arrive as below titled 'Dancing White Peacock' to fulfil my dream:

According to Feng Shui – “Peacocks are a symbol of beauty reminding us to take pleasure in the finer things in life. The Peacock is pure of heart full of loyalty and faithfulness to their partners. The male Peacock goes to great lengths to attract his hearts desire. Displaying  this image of the white peacock, with all the feathers opened up, in the relationship area of your home would symbolize fidelity in your relationship encouraging a lasting and loving partnership.” It can also be placed in area 4 (wealth) -for its beautiful green color- auspicious for 2013 !!
